Introduction

ELT Classroom Research Journal is a research journal for classroom teachers, TESOL trainers and language educators, aimed at research and discussions on the real issues of the English language classroom: practices, theories and ideas researched in the English Language Teaching classroom, language acquisition, and development of English teaching theories and ideas underpinned by both Action Research and analyzing previously published research into English SLA, particularly as it relates to the global spread of English language teaching and learning. We invite papers from teachers and researchers across the globe.

In keeping with the modern theory of short articles (see S. Krashen, in MEJTEFL,1(1), July 2021) https://connect.academics.education/index.php/mejtefl/article/view/106/65 papers may range in length from 2,800 – 7,000 words. See (link to Instructions to authors)

Global readership will include ESOL/TESOL teachers, linguists, educators and those with an interest in English language teaching in global classroom contexts and second language acquisition.

ELTCRJ is a blind reviews refereed publication that provides free online access to our readership. APCs (article publication charges) apply for published papers from 2024 editions. The journal will be published bi-annually in 2023, moving to Quarterly in 2024
